Terms of Service

1. About SyncBooks SG

SyncBooks SG is a cloud-based accounting and compliance software service operated by SyncLife Tech Pte Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), with its principal place of business at 412 Bukit Batok West Avenue 4, #16-314, Singapore 650412.

By creating an account or using SyncBooks SG, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using SyncBooks SG, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Free Trial

All new accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all SyncBooks SG features. No payment is required during the trial period. The trial begins on the date your account is created.

At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the service. If you do not subscribe, your account will enter a restricted state — your data is retained but features are locked. You may subscribe at any time to restore full access.

4. Subscription and Payment

SyncBooks SG operates on a subscription basis. Fees are billed monthly in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and charged in advance at the start of each billing cycle. Your first charge occurs when you subscribe after or during your trial.

Current plans:

• Sole Proprietor Plan — SGD $9/month
• Pte Ltd Essential Plan — SGD $29/month
• Pte Ltd Pro Plan — SGD $49/month

Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to your registered email.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until that date. Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation in case you wish to reactivate.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SyncBooks SG only for lawful business purposes. You must not:

• Store or process false or fraudulent financial data
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the service
• Share account credentials with unauthorised third parties
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure

7. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you input into SyncBooks SG. We do not sell your financial or business data to third parties. Data is shared only as necessary to operate the service (e.g. cloud hosting, payment processing) or as required by law.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all data entered. SyncBooks SG does not verify, audit, or guarantee the accuracy of information you submit.

8. Not Professional Advice

SyncBooks SG provides software tools and general reference information only. Nothing in this service constitutes professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Compliance calendar dates, claimability hints, and P&L summaries are for reference only.

You are solely responsible for verifying all compliance obligations with IRAS, ACRA, CPF Board, MOM or a qualified professional. SyncLife Tech Pte Ltd accepts no liability for any penalties, losses, or obligations arising from your reliance on the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, SyncLife Tech Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use SyncBooks SG.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We aim to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or experience outages and will endeavour to notify users of planned downtime in advance where possible.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the service. In cases of serious breach, termination may be immediate without refund.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
